Anaventura has moved

Friday, June 30th, 2006

If you’re reading this you already know that we’ve moved anaventura from the original site (hosted on a machine where David teaches) to the family server. It’s been a year since the last posts. That’s not to say that things haven’t happened–they have. There have been many ups and downs, happiness and tears.

ana What is significant is that here we are, one year out, and Ana is healthy, I hope she’s happy, and we’re all surviving, even thriving. In something like 28 hours we will leave our home in Vermont for 6 weeks in Mexico, and then on for a year in Spain with Ana’s family. It’s exciting and yet not without some sadness. This past year has seen a deepening of our friendships with folks here in Shoreham and Middlebury. Our friends have become good friends, our good friends, even closer.

I don’t know where this blog will go from here. I’m hopeful Ana will pick it up and her personal ‘aventura’ will continue to be documented as she goes home for the first extended stay in almost 20 years. I know I’m along for the ride…
