Anaventura

On April 26th, 2005, my wife, Ana Martínez-Lage, was diagnosed with breast cancer. As I write this, we are sitting in a hotel room in Boston, next door to the Dana Farber Cancer Center at the Brigham and Women’s hospital. Ana’s surgery and the beginning of the life changing event is tomorrow morning. Things have moved so fast since the diagnosis, I’ve barely had time to come to terms with my own thoughts, and we’ve missed capturing a great deal of the head spinning preparations up to this point
